The world's largest gathering of Celtic cultures : a festival of research, production, and meetings open to the world . Since its inception 44 years ago , the Festival of Lorient Interceltic promotes the interceltisme : a common identity based on diversity of cultures. Today , it has become one of the largest international festivals and annual country by Celtic culture is guest of honor. 50000 artists , 260 events, 700,000 visitors , performances ranging from traditional to rock and jazz.
